As a result of the increasing need for telecentric lenses with higher & higher magnification, Moritex has developed a new MML lens, the SOD-10X.
SOD stands for "super optical device" and the 10X of course refers to the lens" magnification. Just like the Mega series of MMLs, the SOD-10X has a high NA (0.23) and high resolution (1.5um), but has a slightly smaller working distance of 55mm. Also newly developed are two rear converter lenses, SOD-1.5X & SOD-2X. These rear converter lenses are similar to the ML-Z2X, but slight improvements have been made.
